Version 1.20    11-20-2003Made a change to ensure the system will not hang when it is powered on when a MELCO MO-1300U2 (DH29) is connected. Modified the boot block to allow EC/KBC to be updated when the EC/KBC was damaged. NOTE: Because of the boot block change, Toshiba strongly recommends you update the system BIOS to v1.20 prior to installing a later BIOS version.

Made a change to ensure each application assigned to each button will start properly after resuming in S3 mode through the internet/console button under W2K component environment. Made a change to ensure the TV type in the factory default settings is correctly set for both (NTSC and PAL).

Boot Block Notice
This BIOS is intended to be used with boot block version 1.20.Boot block v1.20 can ONLY be installed by installing BIOS version1.20 using the bootable diskette or bootable CD-ROM (the Windows-based installer does not update the boot block.)
If you never installed BIOS v1.20 on your Satellite M30/M35 (or ifyou installed BIOS v1.20 using the Windows-based installer), you should download BIOS v1.20, and install it using the bootable media(diskette or CD-ROM) option before you install the current BIOS.

Microsoft Hotfix KB950233-Fixes incorrect total memory reported by msinfo32.exe This is a Microsoft Hotfix intended to correct an incorrect data type used to calculate total physical memory in the the msinfo32.exe tool. This program should be run on Windows Vista 64-bit based Toshiba computers only, and will install a Microsoft update based on the knowledge base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950233.
Installation of this Hotfix will correct the following MSINFO32.EXE issue:
The Microsoft System Information tool (msinfo32.exe) does not disply the amount of physical memory installed correctly in the Vista 64-bit Operating System with 4GB or more memory installed.
Hotfix Installation Instructions
