Windows NT Advanced Power Management Subsystem version 2.05.33.
This version is updated to eliminate a CPU speed change while playing sounds.

Notes:

  1. If the previous version is installed in the system, uninstall it and reboot the PC before installing the new one.
  2. When applying the WindowsNT Service Pack, fist uninstall Toshiba Power Management (TPM), apply Service Pack, then re-install TPM. Note that TPM was certified on SP3 & SP4 & SP5 & SP6 only, so there is no assurance that it will work with future versions of Service Pack.
  3. The capability to resume PC cards after resuming depends on the HotSwap function of CardWizard and HotSwappable drivers. This capability does not work without them.
  4. Suspend request will be rejected by CardWizard when a non-HotSwappable card or ATA with open handle are in use.
  5. The system will be put into instant security mode but not actual suspend mode, when it is docked with a docking station(DS) and expansion station(EXP) and media docker(MD). This is because the option cards and SCSI in DS and EXP and MD do not support TPM. Actual suspend will cause loss of network connection and incorrect action by the SCSI device.
  6. System Auto Off does not work if Auto Run is enabled. Auto Run causes periodic interrupt, due to accessing the CD-ROM, and it prevents detection of system idle. Some unknown software may prevent System Auto Off from functioning for the same reason, even if the system appears to be idle.
  7. Ring resume function is supported with the internal modem only. It does not work with PC card modems.

REEL TIME

Toshiba ReelTime™ is a graphical history/indexing tool that enables you to view recently accessed files in a fun and easy-to-use format. View and scroll through your history of opened or imported files via thumbnails in an intuitive user interface. Your ReelTime display can be customized to suit your user preferences.

Toshiba ReelTime™ replaces the old fashioned “hunt-and-click” method of finding your files with an visual timeline or “reel,” Now, instead of questions like, “Where is it?” you simply ask “When did I use it?” You’ll spend less time searching, more time doing and enjoying, and keep your day in high gear. Toshiba ReelTime™ shows a row of your most recent files as graphic previews at the bottom of your display, making it easy to see at a glance what’s there. Flick through your reel to find the file you need. Then, keep it handy by dragging and docking it nearby. A brush of your finger or mouse is all it takes. ReelTime simplifies searching by automatically tracking and indexing the documents and programs you open. It groups them and presents them as visual thumbnails so you can easily find what you’re looking for.

Toshiba ReelTime™ also lets you cut through the clutter by filtering out the files you don’t want, and honing in on the ones you do. Group your photos, files and clips by type or by program to look at last month’s book reports, queue up video clips for posting, or to prep for building another great photo album. For all the things you want to do, Toshiba ReelTime™ saves you serious time.

To open TOSHIBA Reel Time:

  1. Click the Start menu.
  2. Enter "Reel" into the search field.
  3. Click "Reel Time" in the search results.
  4. The TOSHIBA Reel Time will open. By default "Everything" is selected, showing all of your files in chronological order. You can then choose to view documents, photos, videos, as well as other items.
